The burglaries and thefts in the city have surely been on a new level, and Nepalis are involved in most of them in a big way. However, the police are having a tough time catching these thieves as most of them are either security guards and servants in the house they later rob, which makes them the less suspicious target and gives them time to devise a plan and get away.
The zones of Rachakonda, Hyderabad, and Cyberabad had seen more than ten such offenses since 2020 when Nepalis served in the house they robbed and later made it to Nepal. The police have had a lot of trouble when the burglar or the gang makes it to Nepal. Their mode of operation is elementary: getting employment at a wealthy house and waiting for them to either go on a vacation or sedate the women or children and rob the house and go away into hiding.
With this being said, the city police are now seeking help and passing on whatever intel they have on these suspects to the border police and paramilitary forces to help them catch hold a few so that the rest who have already disappeared understand what the police can do and the Nepalis who have been devising a plan in the city will also understand that they will be found at any cost. The areas in the city that were caught under the Nepali gang's radar the most are Narsingi, Raidurgam, Nacharam, Abid Road, Kushaiguda, and Malakpet. 95% of the cases involving thefts are all teamwork with their boss or kingpin coordinating from Delhi and arranging everything. The city police are also coordinating with Delhi police to locate such suspicious Nepalis.
