Ministers Harish Rao, Mahmood Ali, Vemula Prashant Reddy, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Mallareddy, Sabita Indrareddy, MLAs Maganti Gopinath, Mynampalli Hanumanth Rao, Vivekananda Goud, Kaleru Venkatesh, and several public representatives participated.These three hospitals provide specialty and super specialty medical services. PG specialty, super specialty seats, and nursing, and paramedical colleges will also be available for medical education. Each TIMS will be built with a capacity of 1000 beds. Each hospital will have 26 operating theaters, 300 ICU beds, and an oxygen facility.Erragadda TIMS:The government will build a 1,000-bed hospital on 14 floors (G+13) on 17 acres. Rs 882 crore has been earmarked for this multi-super specialty hospital.Kothapet TIMS:A 1,000-bed hospital will be built on 21 floors (G+20) on 21.36 acres. Rs 900 crore has been earmarked for this multi-super specialty hospital.Alwal TIMS:This will be a 1,000-bed hospital on 5 floors (G+4) on 28.41 acres. Rs 897 crore has been earmarked for this multi-super specialty hospital.Super-specialty services for districts:The four super-specialty hospitals built around Greater will also bring medical services closer to the people of various districts in the state. People from Siddipet, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Adilabad, Nirmal, and other districts can easily reach without any problem, especially due to the super specialty hospital being built between Alwal and ORR.Due to the super specialty hospital being constructed in the Gaddiannaram Fruit Market, people from Nalgonda, Warangal, and Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri districts will be benefitted. The property belonging to the seventh Nizam of Hyderabad, Mir Osman Ali Khan, has come under the radar of the Telangana government. The proposed demolition of the 150-year-old heritage building, which happens to be a notified heritage structure in Hyderabad, has led the state government to intervene.Netizens have expressed fears concerning the future of the building, and the Telangana government had to issue directives that the structure cannot be altered or leveled. The Rs 300 crore property is currently at the center of a civil dispute between Mumbai-based Neeharika Infrastructure Pvt Ltd and Kashmir-based Iris Hospitality.Media reports and public posts on social media about the alleged demolition have led Arvind Kumar, special chief secretary of municipal administration and urban development, which is responsible for the management of the state’s urban areas, to tweet on April 17 that both parties involved in the dispute must “not alter/ level” the structure.Arvind Kumar tweeted with the title Clarification – “The #KingKoti palace is a notified Heritage structure &amp; can’t be altered/ modified/ demolished without prior permission from GHMC. It’s in a civil dispute. All said owners are served notices not to alter/ level/ do anything. Police are asked to maintain vigil.” The special chief secretary adds that it’s private property that is under civil dispute. So, though it happens to be a private structure, owners need to have the approval of the competent authority, that is, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).Incidentally, a notified heritage structure by definition means any building of one or more premises, structures, and artifacts that requires conservation or preservation for historical, architectural, artisanal, aesthetic, cultural, or environmental purposes.As per the central government document, no development, engineering operation, alterations, or renovations are allowed except with the prior permission of the commissioner, municipal corporation/ vice-chairman, or development authority.Also, before granting permission, the agency is expected to consult the heritage conservation committee (HCC). While Neeharika Infrastructure has denied having any intention of going ahead with demolition, Iris Hospitality has chosen to remain silent on the matter.

In times when even old age homes come with a community tag, here is one geriatric facility that houses inmates of different faiths. To put it in simple words, caste, creed, or religion does not matter for an old person to stay here, free of cost.In a nondescript building on the premises of Masjid-e-Mohammadia near Aramghar crossroads, situated beside the PVNR expressway connecting the Hyderabad airport, is the old age home run by Helping Hand Foundation.The two-storeyed building was constructed for a school, though the operations never took off. Then, it was used as an isolation ward for COVID patients. However, once the patients reduced and with the third wave in the offing, the building was shut down for a few days. Later, it was reopened as an old age home in January.At present, the building houses 18 men and 21 women, who share 11 rooms. Five of them are visually impaired, and ten are bedridden. Four of the inmates who were bedridden have already started walking, adds Mohammed Fareedullah or Fareed, who manages the place.All the inmates have had complex issues at home and would not like to go home or have no home to go to. But the place offers facilities like a seasoned and well-funded old age home. The center is visited by a physician and physiotherapist, and it has full-time nurses, bedside assistants, housekeeping staff, and even an in-house pharmacy. A dentist also visits the place every Friday, and a psychiatrist makes a visit on alternate weeks.Mujtaba Hasan Askari of the Helping Hand Foundation shares that the old age home is a platform to show that humanity binds all human beings. He adds that the environment is positive and stress-free, where love and respect are given to inmates irrespective of their caste, creed, and religion. In times when there is increasing polarization in the country, Aksari says they wanted to start a place that was open for all and where there are no inhibitions.

A speeding car overturned and crashed into a divider. Fortunately, the major accident was avoided due to the lack of traffic on the road at that time. The incident took place within the limits of Jubilee Hills Police Station. On Monday evening, a BMW car heading towards Kottacheruvu lost balance near Ramanaiudu Studios and collided with a newly constructed central median.&nbsp;The car got severely damaged due to extreme speed. A young man named Armaan, who was driving the car, escaped with minor injuries as the airbags opened. He was admitted to the Apollo Hospitals which is nearby. The car turned out to have been purchased less than three days ago.&nbsp;It has clocked only 947 Kilometers on its Odometer. Jubilee Hills police arrived at the scene in the wake of the accident. The vehicle was later towed away by the police with the help of a crane. The police are investigating. There is no information on whether a case has been registered or not.
