Schools and colleges are still battling the blues of the virus and its restrictions as there is no certainty of when kids and youngsters will be back on campus to learn the real way. The past year and a half have seen many problems coming and the fast and easy way of online learning from home.
While the covid is continuing to grip the nation, the economic issues have led to hundreds of schools getting closed and many teachers running out of jobs. The city is under a similar situation where many known schools couldn't survive the issues of online schooling. As a result, many teachers faced problems and fees that stayed on top of the list of reasons for closure making teachers jobless.
In addition, parents of children who were caught under the economic troubles found it extremely hard to pay fees, and many other parents were against fees being collected as they did everything from home. As the academic year of 2020-2021, the current academic year that had begun a month ago, is also seeing a drop in enrollments as parents cannot see good results in their kids through online classes and waiting for physical classes to return.
However, this claim by parents is not a one-sided issue, but it is affecting the school management as lack of fees are forcing them to shut down and permanently close down. However, the older sections might return to school in August as covid cases decline, but a check of the severity of the third wave is going on until then. There cannot be any clear image about the school reopening.
