The Intermediate first-year students were promoted to the Second Year of study due to the second wave of covid19 and the inability to conduct exams. However, these promoted students will have to start preparing themselves to write the first-year exams after the schools and colleges open physically and when things are in control.
The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education(TSBIE) recently issued a circular stating the same and will also release a planned schedule of these exams in the coming weeks. The exams for the intermediate students will happen similarly to the degree students with complete covid protocol and no crowding pre or post examinations.
The education minister confirmed that exams would happen and students should prepare for them. The minister also confirmed that the examinations would begin precisely 15 days after the timetable is released, which gives students and exam centers the time to prepare.
The State Education Department decided strongly to reopen schools and colleges in physical mode and allow students to come to the school with mixed reactions and still receive a more vigorous disagreement against physical learning. Parents who have children studying in classes above 7th are reaching a half-hearted agreement to send their kids to school as the future concern is weighing them down.
However, the smaller kids and their parents are totally against the whole idea of calling them to school and engage with teachers and students. There will be a quick cabinet meeting before 1st September, and a full and final decision will be taken, and all the guidelines based on it will be rolled out accordingly.
