City College has been a beacon for many, providing education for over a hundred years. Going forward with a glorious history, the college is gearing up to hold its centenary celebrations. City College Principal Dr. Balabhaskar said that the centenary celebrations will be held on the eve of completing 100 years of existence.
The Principal was speaking at a meeting at City College on Thursday. The centenary celebrations will begin on the 29th of this month. The meeting was attended by Deputy Principals - Shukla and Ayesha Sultana, faculty members Dayanand, Neeraja, Shravan, Pavani, and others.
Government City College is an Under Graduate and Post-Graduate autonomous college located in Hyderabad. Its campus is one of the oldest Heritage structures in Hyderabad and has been founded by Mir Osman Ali Khan in 1919. It is on the banks of the Musi River facing the Quli Qutub Shah Stadium. Former Chief Minister of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh, Marri Chenna Reddy is an alumnus of this college.
