The financial woes that began when the pandemic started are continuing to cause inconvenience to families as aspirants of different fields, professionals at big MNC's, good to wealthy businesspeople took a hit and are now doing odd jobs and making barely anything to run a family.

An MBBS student of Kyrgyzstan who returned to India during the pandemic had to drop out of her medical school. This is because she and her family had a bad financial breakdown, and she is now a vegetable vendor in the city. Anusha, a third-year medical student, was pursuing her degree course from the International Higher School of Medicine, Kyrgyzstan had to fly home after her family's dire financial state.

During her admission in 2017, her parents were quite keen on getting a scholarship from the state, but to their misfortune, the college informed that there was no scholarship which made the parents sell the jewelry and all savings to raise Rs.7 Lakh for her attendance. After returning to India during the pandemic, the young aspirant knocked doors of TRS MLA from Jubilee Hills, M Gopinath, for help but heard nothing from them.

Accepting her fate, the girl dropped her plan to return to college. Instead, she started selling vegetables with her mother, and her brother is a Swiggy Delivery Partner. Her mother tried approaching other authorities, but nothing worked, and then after lots of trying, the IT and Industries Minister, KT Rama Rao, found out the plight of this girl and decided to invite Anusha and her mother and encourage them and offer her help to reset her studies at Kyrgyzstan.

This is one of the thousand incidents where KTR has seen something that can change people's lives and encourage others and has done it for the needy. The Minister took to Twitter to share the girl's story and applauded her for what she was doing to support her family but has now asked her to fulfill her dream and treat the needy in the state.
