Hyderabad
The municipal bodies, the government, and other authorities are busy all day planning, considering, and visiting sites within the city and outside the city to see what new can be done and how the city's development in any aspect can take it to the next level. Be it new lights on the ORR, flyovers in the city, skywalks at Hitec city, or fancy and out-of-the-box theme parks at the outskirts of the city.
The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) and Hyderabad Growth Corridor Limited (HGCL) have begun beautification work at the ORR and their junctions, leading to different parts of the city. The HMDA is flooded with solo development projects in the city and has joined hands with GHMC, HMWS&SB for multiple projects for the long run and some quick ones.
The current project with the HGCL will see beautiful saplings and plantations all along the roads, minor repair works at specific areas, artistic sculptures of all kinds, lighting that is already in progress, and enough awareness about safe driving without being drunk. The Secretary of Municipal Administration and Urban Development(MAUD),Arvind Kumar, has visited these places to supervise the pace and ensure work is done efficiently. The latter took to Twitter to share photographs of the works, especially the sculptures at the ORRs.
Monsoon moods and #ORR @md_hgcl & @HMDA_Gov plan to bring out a coffee table book capturing greening & improvements on ORR & intersections
