The HMDA (Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority) is all set to undertake multi-layer plantation work at the cost of approximately Rs 5 crore on the 26-km stretch from Raigiri to Pembarti.
As per the directions from MAUD Minister KT Rama Rao, this multi-layer plantation is being carried out along the ORR (Outer Ring Road), Warangal National Highway.
The NHAI (National Highway Authority of India) conducted a study recently on the green cover. Telangana government has appealed to the Central government to co-operate in improving greenery along the National Highway 163 as it’s developing Yadadri temple into one of the most prominent tourist destinations.
The National Highway beautification works to Raigiri from Ghatkesar are being carried along a 30 km stretch. The multi-layer plantation raised by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority on the Yadadri route has now become a model for others to simulate.
