City-based retired scientist KH Sastry who had done extensive research on biological war weaponry systems since the 1980s, has now come up with a device called PurePrana. The wall-mounted device can not only purify surroundings but can also be used to provide pure oxygen to COVID 19 patients through a nozzle and pipe provided along with the device.
The whole idea was to fight air-borne viruses and diseases by developing a nanotechnology-enabled oxygen sterilizer and respirator. The device will also help tackle other health issues such as asthma and related ailments. The scientist finalized the model after various trials and tribulations to ensure that it would purify the air and help prevent air-borne diseases.
The device has been scientifically evaluated by Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), which stated that the device has been effective in combating 98 percent of the virus in 45 minutes of its usage. Sastry shares that PurePrana uses nanotechnology and the ionization process to completely purify, sterilize and neutralize all sorts of viruses, bacteria present in the air. The device draws air from the environment and releases pure oxygen needed for human beings. The ions released in the device eradicate any kind of virus and can prevent air-borne diseases.PurePrana is being manufactured by Pure Products and Devices, and the company claims that it has tested the product on 100-150 people suffering from COVID. As of now, PurePrana is available on Amazon and is priced at Rs 30,000.
