With covid19 reducing in the city and with people stuck at home with the virus approaching full or up to 70% recovery and getting back to everyday life, they have decided not to compromise on activities that boost their health and have taken the wellness factor very seriously.
Citizens of Hyderabad, though caught up by their busy lifestyle, have understood the importance of spending time at a park with ample oxygen and are now looking for places as such around their residences. As a result, the city's lifestyle post covid has seen a rise for people wanting to spend time in the cool shade of trees and walk around parks to feel alive. An open area under LB Nagar flyover is soon set to be converted into an oxygen park.
The park will keep pollution of a busy junction in check and fulfill people's need for a new environment. The park will have 390 meters of open space and 784 meters of walking track, and a sitting facility. The botanists and concerned officials are finalizing and researching plants and saplings that will boost the oxygen levels in this park. The botanists are finding those dozen plants that NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) specified under the category that could provide the highest oxygen levels. A budget of 50Lakh has been proposed for this project and will see more than 30,000 plants saplings being planted in the park with ample parking spaces and prohibition of unnecessary stalls and with pure park experience will be aimed.
