The locations for a quiet and pleasant time with family and friends in the city are popping from nowhere as most of the city's iconic but not-so-good-looking locations are getting a significant facelift. They are seeing heavy footfall over the weekends and are also preferred by some to enjoy nature while they work remotely.
The past few weeks have seen the once upon a time good-looking parks, Lakeview locations, and other locations making all headlines as the whole place looks jaw-dropping with new installations of sculptures, recreation activities being introduced, and cleanliness drives just upscaling the original beauty. The latest to join the growing list of must-visits in the city is the Lotus Pond.
The Lotus Pond is located at MLA Colony, Banjara Hills and while it remained unknown to many, GHMC completely transformed the whole place and gave it an amazing look on the whole, and made it the wanna-be location for a peaceful weekend. As a result, the popularity and inquiries for this place on social media platforms are immense. As a result, a mini floating island in the pond along with aerators for clean water has been installed by GHMC.
The additional location of the pond-side has been beautified with colorful benches, trashcans, and nice-looking street lights for people to visit in the evening. Walking tracks are also in place for people to get a cool jog in the morning around the pond. The GHMC and HMDA, under the supervision of the MAUD, are taking things seriously to make the city a better place by revamping many locations and small parks across the city.
