The medical experts in the city have been known all over the country for treatment of certain cases using their expertise and taking the help of the most advanced technology there is to ensure that the patient is safe and recovers soon. This year has seen many cases with infants, women, and heart patients where doctors worked their way out through a difficult phase of their treatment.
In another case of a medical marvel, Cardiologists at Sunshine hospital have replaced heart valves among patients with severe aortic stenosis through non-surgical interventions. Aortic stenosis is a condition that narrows the heart's valves and blocks the flow of blood from the heart to the main arteries.
This procedure is not new to Dr. Sridhar Kasturi and his team of 10, who has conducted this process more than ten times now without any anesthesia and surgical incisions in the groin area and have been successful throughout. The actual procedure of aortic stenosis involves a traditional open-heart surgery in which mechanical or bioprosthetic valve replacement is done by opening the chest wall with a midline surgical incision on the central portion of the chest wall.
This mainstream procedure not just involves incisions but might also require a good amount of anesthesia that might be harmful to certain patients. Dr. Sridhar exclaims that their method would suffice and save the patient instead of this time-consuming and complicated procedure.
