The Governor of the state, Tamilsai Soundararajan, has expressed her concern over the growing number of kidney disorders and related ailments rising in the state and how people need to understand the importance of this organ and a better awareness of kinds of illnesses is quite essential.
During her talk at the Silver Jubilee celebrations of the Hyderabad Nephrology Forum(HNF) on September 25, the Governor interacted with doctors and patients present at the event. He explained how lack of awareness had been a significant factor in people not knowing what was happening. And when they approach a medical facility, either it becomes chronic or requires an expensive and critical procedure.
The Governor also stressed the people's lifestyle that has been under the influence of alcohol and tobacco, which has got to stop if they want better kidney strength and not face any kidney ailments. A healthy diet and an active lifestyle filled with some sports and essential physical activity are vital. The blood sugar level is another factor that the Governor discussed that people should be careful about.
Apart from her awareness talk, the Governor applauded how this exclusive event was planned out and applauded all those nephrologists who have been doing good work and trying their best to spread awareness through their patients or any other way possible. The Governor has said that Hyderabad Nephrology Forum should continue researching and finding the best methods to resolve new situations through effective treatment.
