Hyderabad
Yes, it’s party time. But since it’s the new normal, Hyderabadis are allowed to party, but by following strict COVID protocols. After staying home for about two years, the party animals are more than eager to go out and party. And the nightclubs and pubs in the city are more than happy to welcome them, though cautiously.
A growing number of people are now tired of house parties and want to come out, and party says pub owners in the city. They feel that in the new normal, many are vaccinated and do use sanitizers and masks to avoid risk factors both for themselves and fellow party animals.
The clubs and pubs on their part are ensuring that the seating is spread out. Their staff is all vaccinated, and one can see sanitizers all over the place. Big club and pub owners say they had little to do as their places are already quite spacious. It’s the smaller pubs and clubs that are doing that extra bit to make sure that things don’t go out of hand.
In fact, one owner of a popular brewery says the party pictures this year will be unique thanks to the masks. While the nightlife is surely happening, the owners confess that they have made all the necessary changes. For example, one famous club changed its dance floor and made sure that people don’t sit or mingle in close proximity.
However, all of them are clear of one thing. They want the government to ensure that all people are vaccinated at least with one dose, to begin with. As for New Year parties, the owners are still trying to figure out how best to accommodate the enthusiastic crowds.
