Hyderabad-based gaming studio Gamitronics has created this metaverse with playable non-fungible tokens (NFTs) powered by blockchain. Touted to be India’s first virtual concert, Daler Mehendi will become the first singer to perform in the metaverse.
Post the concert on Jan 26, the parallel virtual world will be open for the registered users so they can buy cars, shop for clothes, meet like-minded people, and experience the concept of a virtual city, according to Rajat Ojha, founder of Gamitronics.

In this concert, the users’ virtual version can sing and dance with the celebrity and also interact with the singer. Daler Mehendi will be singing his popular Hindi and Punjabi numbers and he will drop three NFTs – his pagadi, golden ticket, and a video byte that the users can buy using cryptocurrency. Gamitronics also has its own MeraCoin and participants can also use Apna Wallet.
The concert is free and will be happening on partynite.io. Those interested can just register using their mobile and email id and a link would be sent to them and they will have to follow instructions. From January 27 onwards, users can buy different things virtually either by using cryptocurrency or by using online payment systems like UPI and Netbanking.
