Jubilee Hills is buzzing with activity, COVID or no COVID. The place has had a slew of restaurants opening in the past few years, and one gets to hear of a new restaurant every other day. The latest addition to this food paradise happens to be Voila, which is located on Road No 36, Jubilee Hills. The place is already attracting crowds owing to its plush interiors, fusion menu, awesome food, and innovative cocktails.
The most interesting thing about Voila is the fact that you can shop while you eat. Cutlery, paintings, artifacts, furniture, lights, chandeliers, and the pretty decor you get to see on the walls and ceiling all come with a price tag. You can shop as you eat and the plus is that the place comes with well-trained waiters. Soon, Voila will start a coffee bar in the outdoor area.
After launching successful pubs in Hyderabad like Amnesia and Insomnia, Raja Sirkar and Kunal Kukreja came up with this new concept. Coming from club culture, they wanted to create a space where both families and food lovers would come looking for some interesting grub at an aesthetically done-up space.
While the restaurant was started in January, it is already quite popular. One of the reasons is their unique menu which has a good selection for both veg and non-veg lovers. Dahi kebab, aged cheddar dust, tandoori pineapple, maple glaze for vegetarians, and chicken Chettinad pasta, gunpowder glaze, pulihora, and chicken are among the most-liked. Then there are desserts like Tiramisu and Mango cheesecake. Their special cocktail mixes are sourced from Mumbai.
However, the most interesting fact about the restaurant is how the idea came about. One of the owners, Srikar, was so inspired by the Numaish held in Hyderabad every year that he came up with the concept of eating and shopping at one go.
Soon, Voila will have a live website where various decor items will be up for sale.
