Despite the spread of the coronavirus in the state, the property registrations are still in full swing. As many as 22,912 registrations were registered in April through 22 sub-registrar offices in Rangareddy district, and the government received a Revenue of Rs 195.50 crore, said Rangareddy District Registrar Sthitapragya.
In the 195.5 Crore, Rs 136.01 crore came from stamps and duties, Rs 43.08 crore from transfer duties, and Rs 16.41 crore from registration fees. Rangareddy Registrar's Office recorded the highest revenue of Rs 61.89 crore in the case of registration of assets.
The lowest revenue of Rs 4 lakh was recorded in the Kodangal Sub-Registrar's office. Revenue from registrations was Rs 34.70 crore in Gandipet, Rs 12.77 crore in Rajendranagar and Rs 19.70 crore in Serilingampally. Real Estate Experts say that the real boom will continue provided there is no Lockdown.
