Aparna is a renowned name in the construction market in Hyderabad. Known for their quality construction, the property developers are mostly into building huge apartment complexes. However, they are now planning to go bullish and expand to select other cities and even have two upcoming projects in Hyderabad.
The company's projects currently include fully-integrated gated communities of villas, apartments, plot development, and commercial buildings spread over 24.5 million sft of built-up area and an additional 15 million sft under development, planning, and approval stages. The company intends to build about 60 million sft in five years.
Incidentally, this October, the company completes 25 years in business and has projects across Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Amaravathi. Apart from residential, the company is now getting into commercial and retail spaces in tier-2 and tier-3 cities in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka. They have two office projects in Hyderabad right now and intend to take on 2-3 new projects soon.
At this point in their journey, Aparna is looking at mixed development projects, a combination of residential, commercial, and retail projects. The company is quite aware that realty is a cyclical sector with ups and downs and maintains that they constantly monitor developments and take remedial measures from time to time to have ROI throughout their business life cycle.
While the going was good in 2020 for the Hyderabad market, Aparna says 2021 was sluggish initially, though they launched two apartment projects in 2021. They also intend to get into villas projects in 2022.
For now, the company has been taking care of its 5000 labor force and also got their entire staff vaccinated.
