'Forests by Heartfulness,' a nationwide initiative to plant seven lakh saplings to mark the seven medals won by India in Tokyo Games, was organized by the Heartfulness Institute of Hyderabad.
Tokyo Games bronze medallist and champion shuttler PV Sindhu visited the Heartfulness institute to seek the blessings of its guide Kamlesh Patel, popularly known as Daaji. Also, Sindhu underwent a mediation session with him. Sindhu, a long-time practitioner of Heartfulness, expressed her gratitude to Daaji for helping her make her dream of bringing glory to the country.
In a heart-to-heart talk, Sindhu said that her family has always pursued meditation. Through them, she was introduced to Heartfulness meditation. She feels elated whenever she visits Kanha Shantivanam or any Heartfulness meditation center. She adds that her life has changed after she started the practice of meditation. Sindhu stated that people have many doubts when they hear about meditation. She wants to convey that meditation is not a magic pill to become successful, but it brings clarity in your heart and mind and heart.
It must be remembered that Sindhu recently became the first woman athlete from India to win back-to-back Olympics medals.
