Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Sunday. Sunrisers Hyderabad is now struggling at No. 6 place at the time of writing this article. The team which had a very disappointing season last year had badly slipped down in Playoff Race. The team had registered four straight losses.
They have complicated matters for themselves and will have to win all three remaining matches to be in the playoffs race. After the trashing by RCB, the team's Net Run rate had also taken a beat. They will also have to improve their NRR if they will have to stand a chance in the playoffs. SRH will take on KKR, MI, and PBKS in the remaining three matches.
Mumbai Indians which had an impeccable track record in IPL is already out of the tournament this year with eight losses out of the ten matches it has played so far. KKR is in the ninth position and Punjab Kings is in the seventh position. So, all three teams are placed behind SRH. So, they will fancy their chances.
