Online teaching is the need-of-the-hour in these pandemic times, and many feel that will be the future, too, as far as the learning industry is concerned. Online teaching academy entrepreneurship enabler Edmingle has raised $300,000 from city-based SucSEED Indovation Fund along with Mumbai Angels and other angels, including Gaurav Gulati, founder of ScaleX Partners and Jaideep Mehta, CEO VCCircle.
Edmingle’s software acts as a conduit between educators and learners wherein it enables educators, entrepreneurs and training businesses to launch branded online teaching academy websites and mobile apps to instantly launch and grow their businesses. The company provides a subscription-based software platform to educators who want to build courses and market them on their website/ app and engage with students.
The seed funding raised will help Edmingle grow to a larger market and further strengthen its technology and operations. According to co-founder, partner of SucSEED Indovation Fund, JA Chowdary, “Edmingle is a next-gen all-in-one platform which substantially reduces times to create, market and sell online courses. We believe their comprehensive and easy to use solution helps prepare and deliver online and offline courses in a faster and effective manner.”About 4000 trainers are able to reach out to 3,00,000 learners in 30 countries thanks to Edmingle’s platform. The trainers have turned their passion into business selling courses worth Rs 75 crore and conducting live sessions for over 90 lakh minutes.
This concept has helped many during the pandemic times by helping many digitise their classroom training, growing its top line by 400 per cent over the last year.
