Yet another Hyderabad start-up, OYCHEF, announced that it has secured a seed fund f Rs 2.5 crore from GrowthStories and others. Telangana principal secretary (i&C & IT) Jayesh Ranjan formally launched OYCHEF, a private chef-on-demand app in Hyderabad. The app can be downloaded from Google Play Store and App Store.
At present, the app has 45 chefs on board, and their target is to add 350 chefs and 1000 freelancer chefs soon. It is also aiming to expand its operations to Bangalore and Goa by the year 2022. This expansion will be followed by entry into markets like Mumbai, Pune, and Delhi by the year 2023.
The mobile app delivers chefs for private service with a fine dining and quality restaurant experience. GrowthStories, founded by serial entrepreneurs Sainath Goud Malkapuram and Vinay Kotra, is focused on promoting new seed-stage ideas and providing them with a promising and sustainable business future.
OYCHEF is the brainchild of Shruti Reddy, who happens to be the early-stage founder and ideator of the OYCHEF app service.
