The state of Maharashtra has been the most hit state with respect to coronavirus, in India, with Mumbai leading. Mumbai has been suffering with the most number of Coronavirus cases, ever since Coronavirus started to threaten the country. The city of Mumbai hasn’t been able to get its relief despite many other cities managing to control the spread of Coronavirus. Mumbai is one of the cities that got the vaccine for Coronavirus on a priority basis. The vaccination for frontline workers is currently going on, and it is being reported that the vaccination for Senior Citizens would be started from March 15th.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the civic body of Mumbai, has taken the decision to vaccinate the senior citizens of the city from March 15th. Senior Citizens are one of the most vulnerable people to the virus, as it could easily spread to them from anywhere or anyone. This is why the decision has been taken to keep them first on list, followed by frontline workers, who continue to work day and night to make sure that the vaccine does not create any more havoc than it already has.

The number of people who are getting vaccinated daily is only increasing with each passing day, with concerned authorities making sure that every single person in the state gets vaccinated as soon as possible. An additional assistance of over 46 private hospitals is reportedly going to be in effect very soon, to help out with the vaccination. And from March 15th, the vaccination of over 50million senior citizens will be taken up.
